- Can I keep my existing phone number?
You bet! Only in very rare instances are phone numbers in Canada not portable. This is a CRTC mandate!
- What do I need to run the service?
A reliable internet connection. The minimum you should have is 15Mbps down / 4 Mbps up.
- Can I use my mobile phone with this service?
Yes! There are two ways –
- The system can include your mobile number as part of the extensions and will call you per your settings
- You can install a separate application that will allow both incoming and outgoing calls through a separate phone number than your mobile, which allows you to keep your number private
- Can I use my home phone with this service?
Yes! The system can include your home number as part of the extensions and will call you per your settings
- Can I have an extension somewhere else than my office?
This is one of the nice things, you can have piece of mind wherever you are. Home, cottage, vacation house…
As long as you have an internet connection, you can have an extension and your clients will never know where you are, unless you tell them!
- Can I have more than one office connected?
- You can have as many locations connected as you wish.
- You can also have each location with individual phone lines, AND have one phone line for all locations!!!!
- Don’t I need separate phone numbers for each phone?
Nope. Only one phone number. Multiple stations, at multiple locations, can all use one phone number!!!!
- Is there 911 service?
Of course. 911 can be configured on the line for a minimum charge.
